From 22 October 2025, the application fees for professional and general occupation assessments will increase in line with movements in inflation.
What this change applies to:

Professional and general occupation assessments

Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMA)
-
Industry Labour Agreements (ILA)
This increase does not apply to assessments for trade occupations.
Why the change?
This is the first fee increase since November 2024. Fees are being adjusted in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to reflect inflation and have been reviewed according to Australian Government guidance.
Key dates to remember:

Before 22 October 2025 – Applications lodged will be charged at the current fee rates.

From 22 October 2025 – Applications will be charged at the new updated rates.
What you should do
If you are planning to apply for a professional or general occupation assessment, it’s recommended to lodge your application before 22 October 2025 to avoid paying the higher fees.
